City Meat Market

109 North

The City Meat Market or the Reynolds and Utz’s Meat Market was built in 1894.   In 1907, it became the Reynolds Grocery and Bakery which operated for some time.  If you were afflicted by mosquito, chigger, or snake bites during the 1950’s to 1970’s: you patronized this establishment since it was the state liquor store.  It is commonly remembered as Bonnie’s Flowers and Gifts.  River to River Bakery & Pizza currently occupies the building.
