Witmer Building

112 S 9th Street

This structure was built in 1918 for Dr. Witmer’s dental practice.  It was the first professional building constructed for a special use.  Prior to moving into this building, Dr Witmer’s dental practice was located on the second level of the Boak grocery building across the street.  It was acquired in 1970 by Dr. H. T. Holcomb for his veterinary practice. 9th Street Smash and Tap currently occupies the building.
